Characterizing Stability Regions in Wireless Networks With Hard-Core Spatial Constraints

In this letter, we analyze the stable packet arrival rate region in a discrete-time slotted random access network characterized by transmitters arranged according to a Matérn hard-core point process. Each transmitter, paired with a fixed-distance receiver, transmits packets with probability $ p $ . Our primary contribution is the derivation of both sufficient and necessary conditions for $\epsilon $ -stability in this network setting. This analysis offers new insights into network behavior, influencing design and optimization of modern wireless communication systems under probabilistic transmission scenarios.
