Multi-component preparation of novel triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine derivatives under ultrasonic irradiation condition

A series of novel derivatives of triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine are designed and synthesized by a three-component reaction of N,N'-(sulfonylbis(4,1-phenylene))bis(3-oxobutanamide), aldehydes and 3-methyl-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-amine. The use of silica sulfuric acid (SiO-SOH) as a catalyst afforded a series of N,N'-(sulfonylbis(4,1-phenylene))bis(3,7-dimethyl-5-aryl-5,8-dihydro-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]pyrimidine-6-carboxamide) derivatives as the desired products (a-a) in high yields in DMF as solvent as well as under solvent-free conditions. All reactions were performed in ultrasonic irradiation conditions.
