The conductive network composites i.e. carbon nanotubes interwoven tetralithium 1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxylate achieve great lithium-ion storage performance due to the multiple conjugated carboxyls, great electron delocalization in naphthalene and extended π–π superposition effect from the interface.
