The in-situ one-step construction of poly(heptazine imide)/poly(triazine imide) heterojunctions facilitates atomic level contact and interface matching. Therefore, rapid charge transfer and effective charge separation between the two phases have been achieved, as well as excellent photocatalytic hydrogen production activity.
