Wow, how time flies. It seems like only yesterday that I was writing my welcome column as your new President in the first issue of the 2022 CIM. Now it's time to hand over the reins to the 2024-2025 CIS President, Yaochu Jin. Yaochu will do a great job for CIS. It's been a great privilege and honor for me to serve as President, and really, it's been a blast. Both the field of computational intelligence and the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society have experienced huge gains, and I'm happy to have had a front row seat these last two years. Rather than attempt to summarize everything that's been happening, if you are a glutton for punishment, you can read the other 7 of my editorials (yeah, right?) to get a sense of the vibrant and growing community we have in CIS. In signing off as President, I have two parting comments.
