The first examples of BF₂ formazanate and BODIPY conjugates: Dyads and triads of BF₂ formazanate and BODIPY dyes undergo reversible reduction to polyanions and exhibit anti-Kasha photoluminescence. These properties arise from the interplay of the discrete properties of each dye and highlight the promise of dye-dye conjugates based on BF₂ formazanates.
