Metal borates for SIB anode: The CNBO as anode material shows a high initial reversible specific capacity of 544.2 mAh g−1 and retains good cycling performance with outstanding rate capabilities for SIBs. And the sodium-ion full cell using NVP cathode and CNBO anode shows a maximum energy density of 146 Wh kg−1, while maintains excellent cycle stability and rate capabilities.
