An unexpected chiral adaptive induction of an achiral CB[8]-based supramolecular organic framework (SOF) was explored, exhibiting the opposite CD and CPL spectra in the presence of L-TrpTrp and L-PhePhe, respectively. Furthermore, this SOF demonstrates the sequence-selective chiral induction for sequences-opposite Trp-/Phe-containing dipeptides, allowing for the discrimination and differentiation of these dipeptide sequences.
