Hierarchical Porous Carbon Embedded MoSe2 Effectively Improve Cycle Stability in K-Se Battery

A hierarchical porous carbon embedded MoSe2 nanoparticles was synthesized by a simple method as the host material of K−Se batteries. The polar component MoSe2 was firstly used in K−Se batteries, and the effect of MoSe2 on electrochemical performance was investigated. Benefitting from the remarkable chemisorption ability of MoSe2, Se@MoSe2-HPC cathode achieved the steadier cycling performance and excellent rate capacity.
