This study presents preparation and investigation of biological applications of phthalocyanines bearing tetraethyleneglycol monomethyl ether chains at peripheral and non-peripheral positions. The examined phthalocyanines exhibited antibacterial and antioxidant activity without photo-activation. The inhibition effect of the new molecules against gram-negative bacteria may lead to future studies.
