3-Pyrrolyl BODIPY-based Schiff base fluorophores exhibited dual-mode of optical signaling responses on selective interaction with DCP over other organophosphate pesticides with high sensitivity (nM range) in the aqueous-alcoholic medium at physiological pH and could be used as a fluorescent compound for sensing DCP in plant tissues.
