The actual reaction temperature of photothermal catalytic ammonia synthesis was determined according to Le Chatelier′s principle, enabling the contributions of hot-electron and local heating effects to be quantified separately. Further, we systematically investigated the hot-electron enhancement mechanism by disentangling the hot-electron effects from the local heating.
