A phytochemical study on the roots of Peucedanum praeruptorum Dunn yielded 13 compounds, including ten angular pyranocoumarins (1–10), two linear furocoumarins (11 and 12), and a phenolic acid derivative (13). Structural elucidation of the isolated compounds was done by spectroscopic analysis. Compound 1 was a new angular pyranocoumarin derivative, while compounds 12 and 13 were firstly discovered from P. praeruptorum. Moreover, the chemotaxonomic significance corresponding to these isolated compounds was discussed herein.
