On page 6198, H.‐Y. Wang, H.‐B. Sun, R. Proietti Zaccaria, and co‐workers describe the dynamics of two hybrid bands formed by the interaction of strongly coupled plasmon polaritons and excitons. A remarkable long life time of the higher energy band is found and ascribed to a newly identified trap state emerging under resonant excitation. This characteristic can be applied to provide a new approach to control quantum‐mechanical states under coherent coupling.
