Achiral C3-symmetric monomers have been used to build chiral supramolecular polymer architectures by a symmetry-breaking process in a vortex. Subsequently, the polymers can take the role of chiral seeds to control the ensuing homologous or heterologous chiral supramolecular polymerization.
