[3,3-Difluorocyclobutylammonium]2CrCl4 is a Cr2+-based two-dimensional organic–inorganic hybrid perovskite that displays both ferroelectricity and ferromagnetism. It shows ferroelectricity with a high ferroelectric Curie temperature (Tc) up to 387 K and a saturate polarization of 2.1 μC cm−2 and exhibits soft ferromagnet properties with a Curie temperature of 32.6 K.
