Abstract

A series of 2-(6-phenyl-7H-[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4-b][1,3,4]thiadiazin-3-yl)-2,3-dihydrophthalazine-1,4-diones (4a4o) have been synthesized via a one-pot multi-component reaction. The reaction of 4-amino-5-hydrazineyl-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiol (1), substituted 2-bromo-1-phenylethanone (2), and phthalic anhydride (3) in the presence of acetic acid under reflux conditions afforded the title compounds in excellent yields. All the synthesized compounds were fully characterized.
