This review summarizes the comprehensive progress in the preparations and synthetic applications of Si‐containing three membered rings, such as silirane, sila‐aza/‐phospha/‐oxa/‐thia cyclopropanes, which are usually very reactive due to the high strain, that causes difficulties in its synthesis, but are very useful as precursors or intermediates for various stereselective and non‐stereoselective organic transformations.
