In article number 2002473, Izabela Jurewicz, Alan B. Dalton, and co‐workers fabricate high quality opal‐like photonic crystals containing graphene using evaporation‐driven self‐assembly of soft polymer colloids. The graphene enhanced photonic crystals are structurally colored materials that are iridescent, so their color changes with the viewing angle and orientation. It is a promising material for a range of novel and emerging applications, from strain sensors to time temperature indicators.
