Noble metal aerogels were crafted by harmonizing freeze‐thaw and freeze‐casting methods, as described by R. Du, A. Eychmüller, et al. in their Research Article (DOI: 10.1002/anie.201916484). Due to the intrinsic properties of nanostructured noble metals as well as the ice‐templating effect, the resulting metal aerogels show impressive electrocatalytic and photo‐electrocatalytic performance towards ethanol oxidation.
