朱道本,1942年8月出生于上海,有机化学家、物理化学家,中国科学院院士、第三世界科学院院士,中国科学院化学研究所研究员、博士生导师。曾任中国科学院化学研究所副所长、所长、中国化学会理事长、国家自然科学基金会副主任。现任中国科学院化学研究所学术委员会主任、有机固体院重点实验室主任等职。
朱道本院士长期从事分子材料和器件研究,在新型π共轭材料的设计与合成、分子结构和物理化学性质的构效关系、有机半导体材料中的电荷传输机制及调控策略、有机功能器件的设计构建及功能开发和集成等领域均取得了具有国际影响力的成果,为分子材料的发展做出了重要贡献。
