He studied at the National University of Defense Technology for his bachelor's degree and was sent to the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom to pursue a doctorate. He is currently the Director of the Centre for Biomedical Information Research and Application and an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, UK. He has published more than 30 papers in top computer conferences such as CVPR, ICV, ECCV and JCR Regional I medical imaging journals Radiology (IF: 29.146) and IEEE trans cybernetics (IF: 19.118), obtained 3 US national invention patents, 3 Chinese national invention patents (ranked 1), 2 software copyrights, and deputy editor of textbooks "Medical Imaging Deep Learning" and "Sensor Technology" 2 parts. He has presided over 2 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (research on cardiac MRI dynamic structure tracking technology based on deep transfer learning, research on key technologies of atrial fibrillation diagnosis and treatment decision model based on magnetic resonance image multi-task fuzzy learning), 4 provincial and ministerial projects, and participated in national key research and development projects as a research and development backbone, with strong equipment research and development and image intelligent analysis capabilities.
