Yuanqing Wang Associate Professor
Introduction : Yuanqing Wang obtained his BSc in Environmental Science from Qingdao University in 2005 and MEng in Environmental Science from Donghua University in 2008. He earned his PhD in Environmental Engineering from Tongji University in 2013, where he studied biomass conversion and hydrogen production under hydrothermal conditions. From there he moved to Tokyo, Japan as a research associate and postdoctoral researcher later at RIKEN where he studied quantum chemistry calculation and electrocatalysis. In 2016 he moved to Berlin, Germany as a postdoctoral researcher at Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society where he studied molecular oxygen activation on the surface of metal oxides by using Raman spectroscopy. In 2020 he began his independent career at Shanghai University, where his group focuses on fundamental aspects of the catalytic process occurring in the interface between gas/liquid and solid by using operando spectroscopy. Yuanqing has been the recipient of the prestigious RIKEN Incentive Research Projects grant (2015).
