Yiyong Mai Professor

Professor Yiyong Mai received bachelor, Master and Doctor degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2001-2007 under the supervision of Academician Deyue Yan. Next, he joined the group of Professor Adi Eisenberg at McGill University as a Postdoctoral Fellow in September 2008. In 2013, he was appointed as a Special Research Fellow (Senior) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and he worked in the group of Professor Klaus Müllen (with Prof. Xinliang Feng) at MPIP as a visiting scholar. In June 2018, he was promoted to professor and obtained tenure. At present, he serves as the editorial board of NanoResearch, SusMat, Journal of functional Polymers and other journals. His honors include National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation, Shanghai Outstanding academic Leader, Shanghai University Distinguished Professor (including follow-up Program), Tang Lixin Outstanding Scholar Award, Canadian NSERC Fellowship, etc. He has published more than 140 research papers in Nat. Mater., Nat. Comm., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., etc.
