Microfluidic In Vitro Diagnostics
He is a researcher, doctoral supervisor, and a key medical talent in Guangzhou. He is currently the director of the Laboratory Medicine Research Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of South China University of Technology (Guangzhou First People's Hospital) and the head of Guangdong Microfluidic Chip Medical Diagnostic Engineering Research Center. He has a bachelor degree in clinical medicine, a master degree in pathology and pathophysiology, and a doctorate in analytical chemistry. During his Ph.D., he worked on microfluidic chip in vitro diagnostic research at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences since 2001. He has hosted and participated in several National Natural Science Foundation of China and key R&D projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology. He has published more than 60 research papers in international mainstream academic journals such as Anal Chem, Biosens Bioelectron, Chem Commun and Small, obtained more than 20 patents, and participated in the writing of several books .
