Zhenhua Li Professor Cardio-Oncology Nano-therapy

Zhenhua Li is a Professor, Doctoral Advisor, Postdoctoral Co-Advisor. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science. He did his postdoc research at Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Northern Carolina State University, USA. In March 2021, he was introduced into Class B at the third level of Southern Medical University. Based on COVID-19, cardiovascular disease, cancer, a variety of functional biomaterial nanopharmaceuticals were designed around the development of biomaterials and their clinical applications.He has published more than 90 high-level SCI academic papers in the past five years including Nature Nanotechnology, Science Advances, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Communications, Accounts of Chemical Research, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, Nano Letters and Biomaterials. The article has been cited more than 4700 times, and his H-index is 41.At the same time, as a PI, presided over 2 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, the key projects of the Guangdong-Guangdong Joint Fund and the provincial natural fund projects.

We focus on addressing some clinical challenges using biomimetic materials such as tumor relapse and metastasis induced by tumor hypoxia and immunosuppression; poor clinical effect of stem cells on the myocardial repair; serious effect on the heart during tumor therapy.
