Jun Zhao Professor Pancreatic Cancer, Irreversible Electroporation, Nanomedicine and Drug Delivery, Nuclear Medicine
Jun Zhao, PhD, Professor, School of Basic Medicine at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Dr. Zhao received his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry in 2004 from University of Science and Technology of China, and his Doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2009 from Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA. He held positions of Postdoctoral Fellow and Instructor at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center from October 2009 to July 2019, and then joined School of Basic Medicine at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in August 2019. His research focuses on the diagnosis and therapy of pancreatic cancer. Dr. Zhao has published as first/corresponding author a series of publications in reputable journals including Advanced Science, Nature Communications, ACS Nano, and Biomaterials.
