Dr. Siya Huang is currently an assistant professor in Institute for Advanced Study at Shenzhen University. She received her Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2014 and was awarded as Outstanding Doctoral Graduate with the First Prize Award on Best Doctoral Dissertation. She joined Texas Center for Superconductivity at the University of Houston (TcSUH) as a postdoctoral fellow from 2014 to 2017. Her scientific interests include design of mechanically “soft” functional materials and their applications in nanosensors and flexible electronics. She has published over 30 peer-reviewed scientific papers in journals including Adv. Sci., Adv. Funct. Mater., Nano Energy, Nano Lett., NPG Asia Mater., Small, Chem. Commun., Appl. Phys. Lett., J. Mater. Chem. C with over 1800 citations. Dr. Siya Huang serves as a guest editor for Sensors, Crystals, and Journal of Nanomaterials and a reviewer for Adv. Funt. Mater., Small, Mater. Today Phys., Adv. Mater. Technol., etc.
