Zhigang Hu Associate Professor AI For Energy (AIFE)

Zhigang Hu is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Center of Hydrogen Science of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Based on a AI+Materials+Energy (AIME) paradigm, he is working on scale-up synthesis of porous materials and metal nanoparticle catalysts for solid-state sorption hydrogen storage and purification, carbon dioxide capture and conversion, hydrogen and ammonia energy conversion. He is listed as the Shanghai Leading Talent (Overseas), Shanghai Pujiang Talent and "World's Top 2% Scientists List (2021-2024)". As a project supervisor, he has won the Gold Medal of 2024 China International College Students' Innovation Competition and Second Prize of 2023 National "Yuanchuang Cup" Competition. He has published 70 papers in Chem Soc Rev, Energy Environ Sci, Mater Sci Eng R, etc., with a total of more than 7000 citations.
