Dr. Dong is currently a Research Associate Professor at Southwest Jiaotong University. She obtained Ph.D. degree from Washington State University (advisor: Prof. Min-Kyu Song) in 2020. Afterwards, Dr. Dong worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Prof. Song's lab from 2021 to 2023. Her main research fields are functional composite materials for next-generation lithium batteries including solid-state electrolytes and advanced electrode materials. So far, she has published more than 20 papers in high-impact journals such as Adv. Mater., Nano Energy, Energy Stor. Mater., etc. She works as an guest editor for Frontiers in Chemistry, Batteries, and Processes. She also works as an invited reviewer for many journals such as ACS Nano, Batteries & Supercaps, Batteries, ACS Applied Energy Materials, ACS Applied Electronic Materials, Polymers, etc.
