Ruilin Liu

Dr. Ruilin Liu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU). Dr. Liu received his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering and Technology and M.S. degree in Analytical Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry from Shaanxi Normal University (SNNU). In 2015, he obtained Ph.D. at SNNU, under the guidance of Dr. Zhi-Qi Zhang in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. He was a Postdoctoral Associate working with Dr. Qiang Fu at XJTU during 2015 to 2020, and The University of Texas at Arlington during 2017 to 2019. In 2019, he was promoted as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at XJTU. Dr. Liu's group studies controlled carbon-based materials, bio-inspired materials and nanobiotechnology, especially for the separation and analysis of toxic compounds, and sensing the biomarker. He has published over 30 research papers and applied over 10 patents. He serves as the Editorial Board Members for International Journal of Pharmaceutics & Pharmacology, Nanomedicine & Nanotechnology Open Access and Electronic journal of Translational Medicine. He is also a guest reviewer for the following journals: Carbon, Journal of Chromatography A, Journal of Cleaner Production, Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology, ACS Applied Nano Materials.
