Key Laboratory of Environmental Toxicology Nantong Nantong University School of Public Health Environmental and Health Research Team, School of Public Health, Nantong University
The Environmental and Health Research Team of the School of Public Health of Nantong University was established in 2016. In 2020, it was approved by the Environmental and Health Research Institute of the School of Public Health of Nantong University. In 2021, it was approved as the Key Laboratory of Environmental Toxicology of Nantong City. The laboratory has a research team of more than 30 people composed of professors, associate professors, lecturers, doctoral students, master students and undergraduate students. In recent years, in-depth research has been carried out on the respiratory toxicity, neurotoxicity, and developmental toxicity of particulate matter, heavy metals, and POPs, and rich research results have been obtained. In addition, using population and bioinformatics data analysis, important research results have also been achieved in the study of the impact of environmental particulate matter and heavy metals on chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes and non-alcoholic fatty liver.
