Dr. Fan Liangdong is currently a Research Professor at the College of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering, and the leader of the fuel cell and hydrogen energy technology group, Shenzhen University. He graduated from Hunan University in 2008 in Chemical Engineering and Technology. In 2013 and 2014, he received dual doctorates in Chemical Technology from Tianjin University and Energy Technology from the Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden). He hosted 2 national natural science foundation projects, 5 provincial and municipal level projects, and 1 international exchange and cooperation project. So far, he has published more than 100 papers in journals like Energy Environ Sci, Electrochem Energy Rev, Nano Energy, Appl Catal B, Sci China Mater a book published by Wiley, of which ≥ 60% of papers are the first authored and corresponding authored and 6 pieces of are ESI high cited ones (1%) and 3 of hot (1‰) papers. He has applied for 7 invention CHN patents and 5 of them are authorized. He has given more than 10 invited lectures at academic conferences such as solid-state ionics in the last five years; He was on the list of Stanford University's “Top 2% Scientists Worldwide” including 2019-2022 "Year’s Scientific Influence" and "Career Influence" lists. He served as a reviewer for Angewandte Chemie, Appl Catal B, Nano-Micro Lett, Electrochemistry, and so on.
