收稿范围
Tropical Animal Health and Production is an international peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality research related to animal health, production, and management in tropical regions. The journal aims to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers, veterinarians, and professionals working with animals in tropical environments.

The journal welcomes original research articles, review papers, short communications, technical notes covering a wide range of topics within the field of tropical and subtropical animal health and production. The journal will also publish correspondence related to previously published papers. The scope of the journal includes domestic animal species, including livestock, poultry, aquaculture and horses (when seen from a production perspective). The journal does not publish articles on companion animals. The scope should fall within the following areas:

Infectious diseases: Diagnosis, prevention, and control of infectious diseases. This may include studies on epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnostics, vaccination strategies, and antimicrobial resistance.

Animal nutrition and feeding: Investigations into optimal feeding practices, nutritional requirements, feed formulation, and feed quality assessment to enhance animal production and health.

Animal reproduction and breeding: Research on reproductive physiology, assisted reproductive technologies, genetics, and breeding programs aimed at improving productivity, fertility, and disease resistance.

Animal welfare and behavior: Studies on the well-being, behavior, and management practices, including issues related to housing, transport, handling, and ethical considerations.

Zoonotic diseases: Investigations into the interface between animal and human health, focusing on zoonotic diseases prevalent in tropical and subtropical regions, their transmission dynamics, prevention, and control strategies.

Environmental impact: Research on the environmental aspects of animal production systems, including the mitigation of environmental pollution, waste management, and sustainable practices in animal production.

Livestock production systems: Studies on sustainable livestock production systems, including extensive, semi-intensive, and intensive management practices.

The journal aims to serve as a platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers interested in tropical animal health and production. It encourages the publication of scientifically sound and innovative research that can contribute to the improvement of animal health, productivity, and welfare in tropical regions.
