收稿范围
Transplant Infectious Disease is aimed at disseminating the latest information relevant to the infectious disease complications of all immunocompromised patients including adult and pediatric patients with primary immunodeficencies, solid organ transplants, hematologic malignancies and solid tumors, recipients of cellular therapeutics including but not limited to hematopoietic cell transplantation, and other patients receiving chronic immunosuppressive therapy . As exemplified by the international editorial board, we seek articles from all regions of the world to highlight variabilities in the field as influenced by local practices and endemic risks closely related to geography. Only through the sharing of knowledge from experts globally will we be best able to care for patients who, thanks to advances in transplantation, cancer medicine and cellular therapeutics, are able to travel the world and live a more normal life, with a broader range of exposures. The journal also seeks to serve as the global hub for all critical research about infections in patients with other immunocompromised conditions. It further seeks to provide a forum for trainees, junior faculty as well as more seasoned clinician-scientists to share their observations, perspectives and findings during the course of patient care and scientific investigations.

Transplant Infectious Disease includes invited state-of-the-art review articles on important subjects, the results of clinical and basic science investigation, a clinical-pathologic conference and correspondences from clinicians about uniquely educational cases. These important papers may be contextualized by leaders in the field to highlight gaps still present in our understanding of the field of immunocompromised host infectious diseases. Subjects covered include basic science and clinical research on specific infections, the epidemiology of important infections, the interaction among immunosuppression and infection exposure, the diagnosis of specific infection, pathogenesis, clinical management and prevention. This journal is meant to serve the needs of all clinicians and scientists involved in the study and care of infections in immunocompromised adult and pediatric patients.
