Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine publishes original peer-reviewed research on the biological and medical effects and applications of non-ionizing electromagnetic fields (niemf). Research considered is inclusive of and limited to 0 Hertz to 300 GHz. Examples of studies that would be considered for manuscript review include: in vitro and in vivo studies, epidemiologic investigation, mechanism and mode of interaction between niemf and biological systems, and the effects of niemf on humans or in medical applications. Other types of research would also be considered, however the main focus of any submitted work must be the niemf, either effect or application.

In addition to receiving original research manuscripts, the journal also considers meeting summaries and reports, reviews on selected topics, and case reports involving niemf that are of clear clinical significance. The journal also considers publication of special issues with Guest Editors.
