收稿范围 | Drug Metabolism and Disposition will consider for publication manuscripts describing the results of original basic and clinical research that contribute significant and novel information on the metabolism, transport, and disposition of drugs, therapeutic macromolecules, environmental chemicals and in some instances endogenous compounds. Manuscripts on the following topics are encouraged and should highlight important aspects in their cover letter, abstract, and significance statement: Mechanistic aspects of drug metabolism and transport, including structural studies of enzymes and transporters and biochemical studies of nuclear receptors that regulate drug metabolism and transport Mechanisms and factors, including genetic, epigenetic, genomic, proteomic, metabolomic, and microbiotic variability, that affect expression and regulation of drug-metabolizing enzymes and transporters Genetic, nutritional, environmental, or hormonal factors that influence the biological fate of xenobiotics in the body Impact of xenobiotic metabolism or transport on pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug efficacy, drug adverse effects, chemical carcinogenesis or other toxicities, and disease susceptibility Metabolic studies (e.g., new metabolites, enzymes, pathways, or biomarkers) of important existing drugs (including natural products/herbal drugs, nutritional supplements, and nanocarriers or chemical linkers used in drug formulation), or known toxicants, that address potential clinical or translational significance ADME studies of new chemical or biological entities that offer new insights into important existing drugs or toxicants, or address mechanisms underlying xenobiotic disposition and response Clinical pharmacology, pharmacogenomics, drug-drug interaction, and mathematical modeling (PBPK, PKPD, IVIVE) studies that emphasize role of ADME Novel in vitro and in vivo model systems for ADME studies, such as stem cells, 3-D culture, organs on a chip, transgenic or knockout animal models Studies of drug metabolism by microbiome or other non-animal species that offer new insights into biological fate of drugs or other xenobiotics in mammals Novel technologies or experimental methods that can be broadly applied to the study of ADME. |
