The Wildlife Society Bulletin is an open access journal for wildlife practitioners that effectively integrates cutting edge science with management and conservation, and also covers important policy issues, particularly those that focus on the integration of science and policy. 

Reports on practices designed to achieve wildlife management or conservation goals.
Presentation of new techniques or evaluation of techniques for studying or managing wildlife.
Descriptions of emerging research that addresses new ways of approaching management actions or proposes new conceptual models for understanding the implications of management.
Retrospective analyses of wildlife management and conservation programs, including the reasons for success or failure.
Opinion articles that combine original data with strong opinion regarding inferences from those data aimed to lead discussion among wildlife professionals.
From the Field perspectives with data that hint at new research directions or insights into wildlife issues or essays of introspection by veteran managers and conservationists sharing insights gained over their careers.
Special sections of articles with a common topic, often stemming from working group sessions or symposia (pre-approved by the Editor-in-Chief).
