Agricultural and Forest Entomology provides a multi-disciplinary and international forum in which researchers can present their work on applied agricultural and forest entomology to other researchers, policy makers and professionals.

The Journal welcomes primary research papers, reviews and short communications on entomological research relevant to insect and other arthropod pests, pollinators and natural enemies, and the biodiversity of managed forests and agroecosystems. We invite high quality original research papers on the biology, population dynamics, impact and management of pests of the full range of forest, agricultural and horticultural crops. All cropping systems within these sectors are of interest, including forest plantations, semi-natural forest stands, seed and fruit orchards, agroforestry systems, along with grassland, arable and horticultural field and protected crops.

Papers on the management of pests may include the development and use of techniques, such as plant resistance, pheromones, biological control, and the use of silvicultural and crop management techniques to manage pests. Papers on biology underpinning the development of techniques and strategies of pest management will also be considered.

Agricultural and Forest Entomology also welcomes papers on the insect communities in forests and agricultural landscapes. We particularly encourage the submission of manuscripts on pollinators and other beneficial organisms, such as parasitoids, predators and pathogens of pests, which contribute to forest health or crop yields, and how management practices affect such natural enemies and pollinators.
