Detection of disease at an early stage, before it becomes symptomatic is receiving significant attention. In article number 1705024, Hossam Haick and Weiwei Wu review the materials and their devices for sensing of physiological parameters, energy harvesting, self‐powered platforms, and self‐healing technology. Perspectives and the future development direction of autonomous and non‐invasive monitoring of physiological markers are discussed.
