We focus on 2D materials with collaborations across material science, chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, electrical and mechanical engineering, and optoelectronics. Our current interest is large-scale 2D materials, high-quality optoelectronic 2D devices, and unique spin and valley phenomena, promising for quantum science, optoelectronics and valleytronics. Another interest in surface modification techniques is to develop promising applications in tribology and surface protection.
