Zhigang Yin

Optoelectronic Thin-film Materials and Devices
Prof. Dr. Zhigang Yin is a full professor at Chongqing University, China. He received his Ph.D. degree from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He started his academic career at Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences (FJIRSM, CAS) in 2011, and was promoted as a full professor in 2018. During the period from 2018 to 2020, he also worked in succession as a visiting scholar and a visiting professor (DAAD Fellow) at Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany as well as a research scholar at Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society (FHI), respectively. In 2022, he joined the School of Electrical Engineering of Chongqing University as a full professor. His research interests include optoelectronic materials, dielectrics, thin-film devices (e.g., solar cells, transistors, sensors, and photodetectors, etc.), flexible electronics, semiconductor physics, and interfacial science.
