According to the ESI data released by Clarivate in September 2024, a total of 86 articles from the Green Energy & Environment (GEE) journal have been included in the current ESI Highly Cited Papers list. Among them, the article titled "Potential industrial applications of photo/electrocatalysis: Recent progress and future challenges," authored by Dr. Jinhao Li and his research team, has been selected for the ESI Highly Cited Papers list. This article summarizes the potential industrial applications of representative catalysts in various photo/electrocatalytic processes. It discusses the key issues and challenges facing photo/electrocatalysis in future practical industrial applications and points out possible directions for development.
Introduction to ESI Highly Cited Papers: ESI conducts statistics on the SCIE and SSCI databases of all universities and research institutions worldwide over the past 10 years, determines a threshold for measuring research performance based on citation frequency, and ranks the top 1% of research institutions, scientists, and research papers worldwide, as well as the top 50% of journals, countries, and regions, and the top 0.1% of hot papers. This indicator has become an important benchmark for measuring and evaluating national/regional research levels, institutional academic reputation, discipline assessments, and the academic influence of scientists.
