On June 16-21, 2024, Dr. Jing Ren and Dr. Shaoquan Li from our group went to Hong Kong to participate in the 4th Symposium on Frontiers of Synchrotron Radiation Technology organized by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

During the Hong Kong conference, Dr. Jing Ren and Dr. Shaoquan Li had in-depth academic exchanges with experts and scholars in related fields, discussed cutting-edge research achievements, shared their research experiences, and studied in detail the construction progress, operating methods, and practical applications of the latest generation of synchrotron radiation light sources. At the same time, they also experienced a multicultural atmosphere, enhanced their cross-cultural communication skills, and helped to strengthen the future international cooperation of the research group.

Synchrotron radiation characterization technology is an advanced technology that utilizes synchrotron radiation light sources for material and substance analysis. It can deeply understand the microstructure and properties of materials, provide important scientific basis for the development and application of new materials, and is receiving widespread attention. This conference not only focuses on the development of the latest generation of synchrotron radiation facilities on an international scale, but also provides a detailed introduction to their applications in related research fields, enhancing the understanding of the field for corresponding participants and promoting academic exchanges between experts and young scientists from around the world.
