Bowei Zhang
Associate Professor
Intelligent Sensors
Associate Professor of School of Mechanical and Power Engineering at the East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai, China. Dr. Zhang finished his PhD from Iowa State University in 2019 advised by Prof. Shan Hu. He was a visiting scholar at Yale University in Prof. Hailiang Wang's group in 2018. From 2019 to 2020, he was a postdoctoral research at Northwestern University (advisor: Teri Odom). His research interests focus on (1) the electrode design and manufacturing for hydrogen generation by water splitting, and (2) chemical sensing. He has been awarded the CSC-self funded prize and Zaffarano prize by Sigma Xi, US. Currently Dr. Zhang serves as the Young Editor of Nano Research, Nano-Micro Letters, eScience, and Chinese Chemical Letters.
