Bowei Zhang Professor Intelligent Sensors

Professor of School of Mechanical and Power Engineering at the East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai, China. Dr. Zhang finished his PhD from Iowa State University in 2019 advised by Prof. Shan Hu. He was a visiting scholar at Yale University in Prof. Hailiang Wang's group in 2018. From 2019 to 2020, he was a postdoctoral research at Northwestern University (advisor: Teri Odom). His research interests focus on (1) the electrode design and manufacturing for hydrogen generation by water splitting, and (2) chemical sensing. He has been awarded the CSC-self funded prize and Zaffarano prize by Sigma Xi, US. Currently Dr. Zhang serves as the Young Editor of Nano Research, Nano-Micro Letters, eScience, and Chinese Chemical Letters.

Tao Wang Associate Professor Intelligent Sensors

He is currently an associate professor and master's supervisor at East China University of Science and Technology, an expert in the Science and Technology Expert Database of Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and a member of Shanghai's Super Postdoctoral Program and Forbes China's 30U30 elite list (industrial manufacturing group). He has published more than 60 papers in top journals in his field, including 13 first author papers and 13 corresponding author papers. He serves as a guest editor of several SCI journals as well as a young editorial board member of EI journals and Chinese academic journals. He has been authorized 5 invention patents, applied for 10 invention patents, and authorized 28 utility model patents. He has presided over a number of scientific research projects, such as the youth project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, the surface project of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and the technological innovation funding project of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission.
