Professor, Taishan scholar youth expert in Shandong Province Yan's Group, Energy and Environmental Photocatalysis, Qufu Normal University
Professor Tingjiang Yan is the Taishan Scholar Youth expert in Shandong Province. He was graduated from the Institute of Photocatalysis of Fuzhou University in 2009, engaged in scientific research in Fujian Institute of Structure of Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2009 to 2011, and joined the Qufu Normal University in 2011 for teaching and scientific research. During 2017-2019, he went to University of Toronto and worked as a visiting scholar in the Group of Professor Geoffrey Ozin, who is named as“the father of Nanochemistry”. At present, he is mainly focusing on the basis and application of energy and environment photocatalysis, involving the photocatalytic/thermal CO2 hydrogenation, photocatalytic decomposition of water, photocatalytic degradation of environmental pollutants, as well as the design and functional regulation of nano-catalytic materials. He has presided over or completed more than 10 projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Major Basic Projects in Shandong Province, Postdoctoral grants and etc. He has published more than 60 papers in Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem. Int. Edit., Energy Environ. Sci., Nano Lett., Adv. Sci., Small, Environ. Sci. Technol. and other well-known journals.

Our Research Group focuses on the preparation of high-activity photocatalytic materials which can meet the needs of applications by constructing highly efficient activity interfaces with definite structure and composition, and understanding the reaction process and mechanism at the molecular/atomic level.
