He is recognized as a second-tier innovative talent in Tianjin (Tianjin 131 Talents), a young and middle-aged core innovative talent in Tianjin, and one of the first batch of experts inducted by the Tianjin Science and Technology Bureau. His research focuses on the high-value utilization of sea brine resources, electrochemical separation technology, industrial crystallization, electrode materials, and electrochemical energy storage and catalysis. He has published more than fifty papers, with over 40 as the first author/corresponding author in SCI journals. Among them, 11 papers are in top-tier journals, and one paper has an impact factor exceeding 20. He has applied for more than 20 invention patents, and the largest single technology transfer as the first inventor amounted to 5 million RMB. He serves as the associate editor of the SCI journal "Desalination and Water Treatment," guest editor for the SCI journal "Electrochimica Acta" by the International Society of Electrochemistry, and guest editor for the SCI journals "Coatings" and "Crystals." He is also a committee member of academic journals such as "Journal of Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering," "Shandong Chemical Industry," and "Journal of Liaoning University of Petroleum and Chemical Technology." He acts as a reviewer for international journals including Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, Journal of Hazardous Materials, ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY, Journal of Physical Chemistry, etc. He has led four national-level projects, two provincial-level projects, and ten horizontal projects, with a total project funding exceeding seven million RMB. He participated in three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, one project supported by the Science and Technology Support Program of Qinghai Province, and more than ten projects such as the Ministry of Science and Technology's international cooperation projects and key research and development programs. He has successfully applied for three projects, with eight patent applications as the first inventor. Under his guidance, each graduate student has published at least one SCI paper. Many students have received national scholarships, honors such as Outstanding Master's Thesis in Tianjin, and awards for outstanding master's theses at Tianjin University of Science and Technology. Over ten of his guided graduate students have graduated, with 50% obtaining qualifications for pursuing a Ph.D. at institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences and 211 universities.
