Jiaqing Xiong Professor, PI E-skins, soft robotics

Jiaqing Xiong is currently a full professor in the Innovation Center for Textile Science and Technology at Donghua University, Shanghai. Dr. Xiong obtained his PhD from Soochow University. In 2016-2020, Dr. Xiong worked as Research Fellow and Senior Research Fellow in the School of Materials Science and Engineering in Nanyang Technological University (Prof. Pooi See Lee group) at Singapore. His research focuses on intelligent manufactruing of soft materials, properties multi-field coupling technology, smart fiber/textile, flexible/wearable electronics, human-machine-environment interfaces and soft robotics. He has published 80 peer-reviewed journal articles in top-tier journals such as Nat. Commun., Sci. Adv., Adv. Mater., Adv. Energy Mater., Adv. Sci., Angew. Chem., ACS Nano, Adv. Funct. Mater., Nano Energy, etc., 32 Chinese granted patents, 4 PCT patents and 1 book chapter published by Wiley-VCH, he delivered more than 40 times of invited/oral presentations in the international conferences such as MRS, ICMAT, ICEAN, NENS, MNC, etc. Dr. Xiong is the Junior Editorial Board Member, the Guest Editor for Electronics, Frontiers in Nanotechnology, and Sensors, he is the invited reviewer for more than 50 international journals such as Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Advanced Science, Matter, ACS Energy Letters, Nano Energy, etc. Dr. Xiong was selected as World's Top 2% Scientists from 2021 to 2023 published by Standford University.
