Catalysis for Energy and Environment
Xingchen Jiao, a professor of Jiangnan University, obtained his Doctoral degree in inorganic chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China under the guidance of Prof. Yi Xie and Prof. Yongfu Sun. He has dedicated himself to the design, preparation and characterization of low-dimensional nanomaterials and the investigation on photo/electro-catalytic CO2/waste plastics conversion into high value-added fuels for a long time. To date, he has published more than 30 academic papers in some esteemed journals including Chem Soc. Rev., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Natl. Sci. Rev. etc. and his publications have been cited over 4000 times. Also, he independently wrote one English book and jointly applied two Chinese invention patents. In addition, he hosted a variety of provincial and ministerial funds, includingthe Sub-project of National Key Research and Development Program of China, the General program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Foundation, and the Anhui Provincial Natural Science Foundation etc. He also won some important awards such as the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the President Scholarship Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Scholarship for Doctoral Students, the National Scholarship for Master Students, and the Outstanding Graduates of Anhui Province etc.
