Jia-Rui Wu, Researcher and PhD Supervisor. He received his Bachelor's degree from Lanzhou University in 2014 (Advisor: Professor Jinshan Guo) and his PhD from Jilin University in 2021 (Advisor: Professor Yingwei Yang). That same year, he was awarded the National Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Program and Jilin University Dingxin Scholar Support Program, enabling him to continue postdoctoral research at Jilin University. In July 2023, he joined the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Jilin University. His current research interests focus on supramolecular/self-assembled materials, crystalline materials, adsorption and separation engineering, macrocyclic chemistry and materials, and solid-phase host-guest chemistry. His research results have been published as first or corresponding author in journals including Chem. Soc. Rev., Acc. Chem. Res., Nat. Commun., Sci. Adv., J. Am. Chem. Soc.(2 papers), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (5 papers), CCS Chem., Small, ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces, and Chem. Commun. He serves as a reviewer, guest editor, or young editorial board member for Chem. Soc. Rev., Nature Communications, Exploration, and Applied Sciences. He has received over thirty awards and honors at the institutional, university, provincial, and national levels, including the Baosteel Education Award, Jilin Province Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award, Kingbo Science and Technology Award for Excellent Doctoral Dissertation, Chinese Chemical Society Qingqing Chemistry Star Award, Jilin University Outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow, Jilin University Elite Graduate Student, and Jilin University President Scholarship (the highest honor for Jilin University graduate students). He has led eight research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation General Projects, Youth Fund, and National Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Program.
